About Eddie Hall

Getting Famous

Eddie's big break came in 2011 when he won England’s Strongest Man, even though he wasn't supposed to compete. This got him noticed, and he started competing in big events like the World’s Strongest Man. Even though he didn't do so well at first, he kept going and got better.

Big Wins

As years went by, Eddie's performances got better and better. He got third place in Botswana in 2016 and then in 2017, he became the World’s Strongest Man, ending a long wait for a British champion.

Other Achievements

Eddie didn't just stop at the World’s Strongest Man. He won lots of other competitions too, like Britain’s Strongest Man, and set records in the Deadlift Championships. Eddie Hall was the first person ever to deadlift 500kg, or half a tonne at the 2016 World Deadlifting Championship, which was a huge deal in the strength world.

Retirement

In 2017, Eddie Hall decided to step away from strongman competitions after securing the World's Strongest Man (WSM) title. His retirement stemmed from concerns about his health and the strain the sport placed on his body.

Following his departure from competitive strongman events, Eddie Hall shifted his attention to his fitness and personal training endeavors. He also explored opportunities in television and entertainment. Alongside these pursuits, he actively participates in charitable initiatives and maintains a vibrant presence on social media, regularly updating his fans with insights into his life.
